Artist Hidreley Leli Dião took the opportunity to recreate the singer’s face. He says he made sure to keep the singer’s eye-catching smile.

The work earned Madonna’s own approval and praise. Seeing the post, the singer said that it was cool and even asked the artist to repaint her mother’s face if she was alive today.

“Hi, can you bring this photo to life? If so, I will send you an email,” the singer said in the message.

Hidreley shared the conversation on his Instagram profile. “She’s the one who has the birthday,” she celebrates, “but I’m the one who gets the gift.”

In these cases, about the creative process, Headley comments that he has an “artistic eye” for each work that he proposes to change. For starters, he looks for faces in photos that have similar features to the characters he wants to recreate.

Then, after choosing the base image, the character that will come to life is placed in Photoshop. From there, the artist assembles the real face in a maximum of 50 minutes.

“It runs from here, stretches from there, I look for hair sources, etc. It often takes a lot longer to find an image in the image bank than the digital process itself. Finding a face takes about an hour and about 50 minutes at most to recreate. In Altogether, it takes about two hours to complete.”

For example, Hidreley shows the process of creating the real face of Bruno, a character from Disney’s Encanto which has been one of the most requested projects by followers. The primary face, from the iStock public domain image bank, is a male with light skin tone and light eyes.

For the artist, it is enough to “feel that it will work” and that the character will fit him as a starting point for starting creativity.

The Botucatu resident has also been a contributor to a digital magazine for nearly five years. For this reason, his routine is geared towards discovering new novels, and today he has just over 50,000 followers on social media.

“I made two characters, Moe from The Simpsons, and Aladdin, and posted them on my Instagram. Until then, I had eight thousand followers, but people liked it so much, they commented on suggestions and I welcomed it and made what they asked me. When I realized, I had About 20 new photos and a new follower. Within two weeks, a lot of big platforms came to me for interviews and I had over 50,000 followers,” he said.

What the artist reads most in the comments to the posts are such phrases as “This is real people” or “This is a depiction”. But he insists that the products are the result of artificial intelligence, study and dedication.
