Dynamo in 2022: many returnees, but only mediocre

In part III of SGD’s annual report, TAG24 looks back on the months from September to December for Dynamo Dresden.

Dresden – Games, games and more games are on the program for the blacks and yellows in the fall until the early break. What is offered on the lawn is often playful lean food. You can find out which game Dresden fans will remember in Dynamo’s annual report for the months of September to December.

In 2022/23, the SGD welcomes four former acquaintances into the workforce. Four footballers return to Dresden after abstaining.

Assault tanker Stefan Kutschke (34), born in Dresden and back in the black and yellow jersey after five years in Ingolstadt, kicks things off. Jonathan Meier (23), Dynamo’s long-time 2020/21 favorite on the left wing after a year-long appearance at Rostock, is also out. In September, Akaki Gogia (30) and Niklas Hauptmann (26), two well-known names from the past, will make their comeback with the black and yellow.

The two noble technicians played well with Kutschke in the 2016/17 season in the 2nd Bundesliga, but come to Dresden without regular match training, which you can see from them.

Technically neither of them can beat them, but physically they have to catch up. The missing summer preparation with dynamo due to late transfer date is noticeable.

As Dynamo turns an order book for the only time in 2022

Claudio Kammerknecht (23) scored the 3:2 for the SGD against Osnabrück with the hoe. At the break, the blacks and yellows were still 0:2 behind, but came back after the break.

During the away game in Bayreuth, part of the black and yellow supporters show their ugly faces, dismantle a snack stand, injure police officers and revolt in fan costume. The negative headlines are once again recalled throughout Germany.

In terms of sport, the people of Dresden manage the only emotional rollercoaster in 2022 with a positive result. Only one league game in the whole year turns black and yellow into victory after falling behind. It’s not so easy against Osnabrück, because at the break it’s 2-0 for the guests who play in purple and white.

But after the change of side, the Dynamo ignites the turbo: Gogia, Patrick Weihrauch (28 years old) and Ahmet Arslan (28 years old) turn like crazy. In striker Stefan Kutschke drives the hustle and bustle like a true leader. The icing on the cake is the 3-2 scored by defender Claudio Kammerknecht (23).

After the final whistle there is a lot of celebration, perhaps too exuberant. He remains the last trio in 2022.

Blacks and yellows are average in the 3rd division

1:1 against Freiburg II, 0:1 against Wehen Wiesbaden, 0:0 against Zwickau. Dynamo tread water in November, closing the gap with promotion ranks in double digits.

While SV Elversberg and 1. FC Saarbrücken are now regularly (tripled) points, the SGD struggles from week to week, but there are no brilliant ideas in the game and also the last bite, the one of the games is dirty to decide for himself. The black and yellow remain without a win six times in a row.

The end of the gaming year is just as disappointing as 2022 began.

Except in the spectator table, Dresden is in the 3rd league mediocre and therefore ninth place after 17 matchdays reflects Dynamo’s level of performance.

Dynamic internship at the beginning of December? The Winter World Cup in Qatar makes it possible. The SGD will be based in Belek, Turkey, which is probably best in Dresden given the snowfall and frozen ground at the same time.

All eyes are on Panagiotis Vlachodimos (31) – who didn’t play the first half of the season due to injury – and other players who didn’t perform well in the first half of the season. season.

After a knee injury, coach Markus Anfang (48) also travels to Turkey with a disability. The workouts are filmed by drone. In friendlies, they drew 2-1 against Galaxy FC and Dynamo drew 2-2 against Sampdoria Genoa.

All in all, there’s not much positive left from 2022.
